A couple of years ago, I walked into my apartment and noticed a horrendous smell. I searched behind the couch and other furniture seeking the source of the stench, but could not find it there. I went into the kitchen and began to clean out the refrigerator, hoping to discover the culprit. Still, the smell prevailed. Finally, I opened the pantry door and discovered a bag of rotting potatoes. The “stink” from those potatoes had moved past the pantry and kitchen and spread throughout my entire apartment!
